I discovered ceramics in 2001 in the Academy of Fine Arts in Anderlecht (Brussels). In 2002 I opened my own workshop, where I work until now.
I mainly use the white stoneware. The clay is modeled entirely manually. Formed objects are left to dry for several days, then fired for the first time at 950 ° C. (biscuit firing). The enamelling is done with a brush, then the items go back to the oven for a second firing, between 1060 ° C and 1250 ° C, depending on the glaze.
After this process, the ceramic is finally ready to expose. . .
